As per the Jammu and kashmir reorganisation Act ,2019 Ladakh and jammu and kashmir has been created as a union territories of india. At the present ,there are nine UTS. These are:
- Delhi, Dadra and Nagar Haveli,chandigarh,Anadaman and Nicobar Islands,Puducherry,Lakshadweep,Damman and Diu ,Ladakh and jammu and kashmir.
Artical 1 of the India constitution comprise territories of india (a) The territories of the states, (b) The union territories,(c) other territories as may acquired by the goverment of india.It is not happen still now.
Administration of the union territories is under article 239 run by the union goverment with appointed a administrator by the president of india.
Paducherry (1963) ,Delhi(1992) has a legislative assembly with coucil of minister headed by the chief minister.High court for UTS is run as per the artical 241 of the contitution of india.
